Job Summary
The Shuttle Driver, under the direction of the Supervisor, will primarily be responsible for a customers’ positive service experience by driving them to or picking them up from their homes. places of business or place of choice while service is being performed on their vehicles.
Job Duties
- Drives customers to their homes, places of business or place of choice and picks them up after their vehicle is repaired.
- Uses good judgment and safe driving skills.
- Keeps a timely shuttle route.
- Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles.
- Communicates continually throughout the day with their counterpart drivers ensuring the timely pick up and return of customers to the proper dealership and to coordinate the quick resolve of any disruptions of schedule to secure the on-time pick up and retum of customers (ex. unscheduled and unknown last minute requests by dealership advisors).
- Communicates with the Supervisor any customer complaints, disruption of service for immediate resolve.
- Keeps a daily log record(clip board) of trips including dealership and passenger names, addresses, phone numbers. pick and drop off times and complaints.
- Notifies the Supervisor and/or Service Manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, and general maintenance.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the shuttle vehicles, both interior and exterior.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Expectations
- To comply and adhere with all company policies and procedures, safety and driving practices, training assignments. the company vision and completion of their annual performance reviews returned to their Supervisor on time.
- All absence, vacation and work schedule changes are to be discussed and approved by the Supervisor.
- Maintain a cheerful, communicative and positive disposition, at all times.
- Maintains a professional appearance by wearing company uniforms.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract and driving record.
